Bintang Flores Hotel

The hotel standard is high and consistent with the number of stars. However, there are at least 2 features that distinguish this facility. Firstly, the location. It is excellent, far enough from the urban hustle and bustle of Labuan Bajo, but at the same time close enough to allow for a walk. Secondly - the garden. Great recognition is due to the gardener, whose daily work creates a special climate of a tropical Eden. In addition, the hotel service - impeccable, the laundry - excellent, the swimming pool with islands well-kept, the restaurant - impeccable, breakfasts good, although with a large predominance of Asian dishes. There are also disadvantages. The main problem is the sea, because there is no sea. The water is dirty and in my opinion unsuitable for swimming. Perhaps it is a matter of the wind, but during my 8 days at the hotel, swimming in the sea was out of the question. A long pier would significantly improve the situation, at least for adults. On the hotel premises we will find the Wet Frog diving center, but the quality of services does not meet the expected standard, unlike the amenities of the hotel itself.

The pool with the sea view is amazing and well maintained. We also appreciated the regular room service, bringing both clean towels and bed linen. Room was large, bathroom was large, plenty of hot water. WiFi was strong and stable. We were also happy with the diving center.

We really enjoyed our stay here and wished we had booked to stay for longer! A little further away from the main street, the location is nice and peaceful but still is an easy walk to the centre. The pool literally back out onto the beach, making for stunning views. The hotel felt modern and the room was very spacious. The breakfast had lots of variety and was tasty.

Bintang Flores was a very confortable and luxurious experience. Our room was spacious, clean, and fully equipped. The laundry service is good (easy and very quick). Breakfast and restaurant are very good.

First, the staff were helpful and kind. The hotel is away from the hustle and bustle of the town center. Pool was clean. Unfortunately, the beach was dirty but not the fault of the hotel. Ocean currents bring all the garbage on the beach from the sea. I observed that they at least try to clean the beach, but I wouldn’t swim in it.
